Hanlon PTO President (08/2020 - current)

Instituted Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Chair Position
Created and Implemented the DEI Story Walk in Lowell Woods (January - September 2021)
Led effort for the Westwood Together signs which raised funds for air purifiers in classrooms at Hanlon
Instituted annual Thanksgiving Food Drive competition between Hanlon & Deerfield for the Westwood Food Pantry
Facilitated a series of “Short Wednesday” programs for students, including a virtual meet & greet with a Hanlon centenarian citizen to celebrate the 100th day of school

Integrated Preschool Treasurer (08/2019 - 08/2020)

Initiated a grant through Dedham Savings bank to purchase and install a playground structure at the school
Wrote education grant proposals that awarded funds for enrichment programs (puppet shows, visits from Museum of Science, Discovery Center, etc.)
Established “Mass Audubon/Naturalist in Residence” program for the 2019-2020 school year through a grant approved by the Westwood Culture Council
